Time-Clip No. 72

1985 – 1990

Since the economy had prospered over several years, the company was able to increase its workforce again..

This wasn’t just true of Carl Schenck AG but the entire group.

The greatest number of staff was reached on 30 September 1990 when the group totalled 7,152 staff, including trainees.

The company was not always able to fill all its posts at the time it planned to as there was a great shortage in specialists. The problem was resolved in 1986 when almost 400 people were taken on.
